Yeah I gotta agree 110% as well with what's been said so far regarding the movie in general. Going in to see it yesterday I was definitely worried I'd set my own expectations far TOO high for them to be possibly be satisfied altogether, but wow, just...wow what an incredible masterpiece this truly is though. Literally from start with Joker's bank heist scene to finish with a certain someone's death I was right on the edge of my seat wanting more and more, and while I do agree that the ending was somewhat anti-climactic that doesn't take away the least bit whatsoever from the all around greatness of what transpired for ALL characters otherwise.

For sure though Heath STOLE the show as Joker (Jack Nicholson-who? ) and obviously that's what makes it so sad that we'll never get to see this particular version of the character ever again on screen, though I'm betting he'll win the Oscar he damn well deserves for this regardless and that'll be a very worthwhile reward in itself. And as for Joker himself, hopefully they'll tie up any loose ends one way or another with a third film soon enough (with say a similarly revamped Riddler as main villain for that one?) but even if not I don't think there will be any real complaints on how things "ended up" in part two regardless.

Oh and on a side note Joker's "magic trick" with the pencil at one point owned all too, that and the "why so serious" stories he shared about his past made this by far THE most perfected/realistic on-screen Joker we'll EVER see in our lifetimes I'm certain. But all in all an excellent movie/true classic in basically all aspects and I can't wait to go right back and see it for a second time a few hours from now infact, and from the looks of things Spiderman 3's weekend record at the box office is about to be ancient history and deservedly so for what Christopher Nolan accomplished here as director. All I can say is if this one was a sign of things to come bring on the third installment ASAP!
