Just over 24 hours now until draft time though, should be verrrrrry interesting with more teams than ever before. With quite that many every pick made will be magnified once the regular season starts I bet. And in a way I would like to see the playoffs expand from 4 to 6 teams though so that we have the perfect ratio there between teams that do and don't make the final cut later on, but the logical problem is that we'd still need to cut week 14 from the regular season schedule in...

Yeah this is just me but I'd much rather see everyone fully active and ending up with who they really want on their teams from day one hopefully, not another random luck of the draw draft for some where certain guys show up irritated a few weeks from now with what all they have to work with on their rosters. That's one reason I was originally in favor of an earlier draft this time around, but in hindsight...

True, this board is basically dead anyhow as it is so hopefully enough people will remember to show up regardless of whether they pass through here or not and get the memos. Plus most of those involved still seem to be on AIM some lately so I'll see about starting a chat on there Saturday just before draft time to guarantee the best possible turnout.

And one other late reminder too, now that we're only 7 days out from the draft be sure to go ahead and pre-rank your players ahead of time at the league site just incase you aren't able to make it to the draft itself for any reason, that way things can run as quick/smoothly as possible once it begins of course. But hopefully we can get a good live turnout (say 7-8 teams minimum) for this regardless though, and if so I definitely feel like the league will live up to...

Haha yeah it's definitely great to have you back in any form whatsoever though, and who knows maybe someday Mongo will actually come to his senses and re-open the REAL XHF once more so that we could see Reeshi himself perhaps make one last main event run for old times sake, though I'd just as soon settle for a Decoy or Platinum return if that's what it took to get you back in the RP forum again

I'd like to say all your fuss doesn't matter because this thing is already mine to begin with....but I can't. For a sports writer/journalist I really have limited knowledge of the NFL...nice to be back with the boys (and girls if they're still around?) in some form of competition though even if it isn't on the RP board.

Snaking gives an element of fairness to the draft so NMM and I don't end up with a ton of power packed players early on so I vote snaking

quick poll on the draft. I've set the order to the rankings of last year. this year there is an option of snaking or non snaking draft. snaking is the normal way to draft where in the second round the last pick gets to pick first and then it goes back around. non snaking would be like how the nfl and nba drafts normally go.
